Azure Mastery ("the App") is developed and maintained by Azure Mastery ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use the App.
Azure Mastery is designed with privacy at its foundation. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or operate an analytics service. Your study progress, preferences, and performance data stay on your device and, if you enable sync, in your private iCloud account. Ask Aura's optional connections are described below.
The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking libraries.
The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide its core functionality:
All of this data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults on your device.
The App offers an optional iCloud sync feature, controlled by a toggle in Settings. When enabled:
iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App offers premium subscriptions (monthly, annual) and a lifetime access option, as well as individual exam pack purchases. All transactions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.

The App includes machine learning features that predict exam readiness and forecast scores. These models:
Ask Aura's initial preview uses reviewed study material and deterministic local study routes. Generative coaching is not enabled in this build. On supported iOS 27 devices, optional speech transcription uses an on-device model to create an editable draft; it does not generate Ask Aura answers.
Ask Aura begins with reviewed material bundled with the App, including study guides, terminology, question explanations, and on-device Exam IQ insights.
This optional connection is off by default. If you enable it, Ask Aura may request public Microsoft documentation using a public topic name or documentation address. Microsoft does not receive your full message, answer history, or study progress from this feature. The request requires an internet connection and is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Private Cloud Compute explanations are not enabled in the initial Ask Aura preview build. If a future build enables this route, it will remain optional and off until you choose to enable it. When enabled and used, relevant messages and selected study excerpts may be sent to Apple for a more complex explanation. Availability and usage limits are controlled by Apple and processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
On supported iOS 27 devices, you can use on-device dictation in Ask Aura. Microphone audio is used only while dictation is active. Azure Mastery does not save that audio, include it with the message, or send the resulting editable draft until you choose to send it.
The App can send local notifications for daily study reminders, streak protection, and exam countdown alerts. These are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external push notification service. You control which notifications are enabled in the App's Settings, and you can revoke notification permission at any time through iOS Settings.
The App provides home screen widgets and an Apple Watch companion app. These extensions access a limited subset of your study data (readiness score, streak, daily progress, XP) through Apple's secure App Groups mechanism. This data never leaves your device.
If you choose to report a question issue, the App opens your device's native Mail app with a pre-filled email to support@moonbeamalpha.atlassian.net. The email is sent through your own email account — we only receive what you choose to send. We do not automatically collect your email address.
The App may check for content updates (new questions or exam material) from a hosted manifest file. This check:
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is an educational study tool and does not contain user accounts, social features, or age-gated content.
The App uses Apple's platform frameworks and services, including SwiftUI, SwiftData, StoreKit, CoreML, CloudKit, WidgetKit, and WatchConnectivity. Ask Aura can also make the optional Microsoft Learn request described above. We do not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by:
We do not operate a server that retains your study data or Ask Aura conversations. External services may process the limited data described in the optional-connections sections under their own privacy terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
