Privacy Policy

Azure Mastery

Azure Mastery ("the App") is developed and maintained by Azure Mastery ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use the App.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification (email, phone number, date of birth, address)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs (IDFA)
• Location data
• Photos, camera, contacts, or calendar data
• Browsing or search history
• Analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
• Crash reports sent to third parties

The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking libraries.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide its core functionality:

Study Progress

• Questions attempted, correct answers, and response times
• Practice test scores and completion dates
• Mastery levels, streaks, and XP totals
• Study session history and daily activity
• Achievement records
• Bookmarked questions

Preferences and Settings

• Appearance mode (light, dark, or system)
• Text size preferences
• Notification settings (reminders, streak protection, exam countdown)
• Goal exams, certification paths, and exam target dates
• Experience level selection

Profile

• Display name and initials (optional, user-provided)

All of this data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults on your device.

iCloud Sync

The App offers an optional iCloud sync feature, controlled by a toggle in Settings. When enabled:

• Your study progress and preferences sync to your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit.
• This data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us or any third party.
• Syncing allows you to access your progress across your Apple devices.
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App's Settings.

iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases

The App offers premium subscriptions (monthly, annual) and a lifetime access option, as well as individual exam pack purchases. All transactions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.

In-app purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

On-Device Intelligence

The App includes machine learning features that predict exam readiness and forecast scores. These models:

• Run entirely on your device using Apple's CoreML framework.
• Do not send any data to external servers for processing.
• Use only your locally stored study metrics as input.

On supported devices (iOS 26.0+), the App may use Apple's on-device FoundationModels framework to generate brief coaching explanations. All processing occurs on-device.

Notifications

The App can send local notifications for daily study reminders, streak protection, and exam countdown alerts. These are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external push notification service. You control which notifications are enabled in the App's Settings, and you can revoke notification permission at any time through iOS Settings.

Widgets and Apple Watch

The App provides home screen widgets and an Apple Watch companion app. These extensions access a limited subset of your study data (readiness score, streak, daily progress, XP) through Apple's secure App Groups mechanism. This data never leaves your device.

Support Contact

If you choose to report a question issue, the App opens your device's native Mail app with a pre-filled email to support@moonbeamalpha.atlassian.net. The email is sent through your own email account — we only receive what you choose to send. We do not automatically collect your email address.

Content Updates

The App may check for content updates (new questions or exam material) from a hosted manifest file. This check:

• Does not transmit any personal data or device information.
• Only downloads a small metadata file to determine if new content is available.
• Can be performed over standard HTTPS.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is an educational study tool and does not contain user accounts, social features, or age-gated content.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's own platform frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, StoreKit, CoreML, CloudKit, WidgetKit, WatchConnectivity, FoundationModels). No data is shared with third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device (removes all local data).
• Disabling iCloud sync and removing the App's iCloud data through Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage on your device.

We do not retain any data on external servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
